Shaw needs more of a longer rope.. 2 matches on green tops where everyone  failed is not the best to judge him when he is just 20 and shows batting talent.. plus wonderful to watch.

He score more runs that Pujara and Virat in the first match anyway

Before dropping Shaw, they should drop Kohli. Most accomplished batsman in the side but goes AWOL at the very first sign of testing conditions.

Question of dropping Shaw does not arise.  The guy is so unfit that he will get himself dropped ,due to injury ,after playing a couple of matches.  He may be a teenager. But his fitness level is that of a senior citizen or even worse. That's the bitter truth. Unfortunately.

Got injured again ?

This guy is a special talent and shud be backed. About technical fault they shud be talked if the pattern gets repeated around 15 test and players is not able to score runs which was the case with dhawan n Rohit overseas. If a player somehow is able to find ways to score runs then discussion ends. In a way its good if player gets to know his issues soon so he can improve and shaw knew about his problem long before .

Steve waugh had issues against short pitch but he had a way of scoring runs, Sehwag had his issues but scored runs and that to on his 1st cycle of overseas conditions.
