Tri-series between three worldcup winning team of last decade (Ind, Aus & Eng). All 3 teams won worldcup on their home ground. Judge players mostly on their worldcup form for their respective team not pre or post worldcup performance.

Finals will be held at home ground of table toppers. (Lords/Wankhede/Perth)

For me indian bowling >England bowling

Depends. That 2011 Indian team was as strong as it gets in SC conditions.

I however think the England team of 2019 is the strongest in terms of balance for all conditions.

I know they had the least dominant of performances among the 3 teams but on paper I would back 2019 England team. They would have been deadly in SC conditions too.

Australia don’t have a decent spinner. They (the 2015 squad) would struggle in SC conditions.

All 3 teams won worldcup on their home ground. Tri series can be played at any neutral venue. (Ind vs Aus can be played in eng, Ind vs Eng in aus & Aus vs Eng in India). Judge players mostly on their worldcup form for their respective team not pre or post worldcup performance.

Picked up xi of final. Nehra can be considered as part of squad for tri series.

Aussie team was too strong in their conditions and won without breaking sweat

India and England stumbled on their path to WC triumph in familiar conditions

Aussie pace attack was impressive only weakness was they lacked a proper spinner

Pretty much this.

Consider pitch good for batsman as we see in almost every worldcup matches. Bit help for pacers at start & quality spinner could extract bit from pitch as well.

2011 bowling line up in Aus conditions would have been cannon fodder. They were perfect for Sc conditions. Munaf and Nehraji trundling, Sreeshanth having 1 genius performance followed by 10 pathetic ones and Chawla the leg spinner would be murdered under current rules and 400 pitches.

You have to consider the field of competition.

2019 was the weakest by far. SA, SL and Pak have declined massively since 2011. Even Aus11>Aus19. Only NZ and BD teams were stronger in 2019. Still England could only manage to win by a hairline margin. The were also close to being knocked out in the group stage itself.

I am willing to bet both IND11 and AUS15 will beat ENG19 more often than not.

But unlike tests, ODIs are a batsman's game. And India in 2011 had a beast of a top 7, one of the best ever in history. It was versatile and full of clutch players. Not to forget more or less the same team beat Aus in the CB series of 2008.

Our bowling is weaker. Batting wise if you see obviously 2011 looks great especially the middle order.

Also 2008 CB team had pace with even a guy like PK bowling in late 130s

Yeah our bowling was weak for Australian conditions. But you need to keep in mind that it was picked for home conditions.

Also I wouldn't look much into speeds in 2011, as bowlers usually tend to bowl cutters and slower balls in India. They could ramp up the pace in favourable conditions.

Zaheer and Yuvi had a great tournament with the ball in 2011. If Shami and Ashwin could succeed in 2015 WC, I see no reason why the former couldn't have.
