Only trial data is available for mRNA vaccines that it can cover the 617 variant of India. Only real-life evidence is available for Covaxin that it can cover 617 variant and it is from Israel. Hence we need comparitive local trials of mRNA to make sure it does. We cannot invest in mRNA without trials as suggested by some instant “experts” like Chetan Bhagat
