Punjab ,they are probably not able to see few from their bench they keep on loosing while shuffling between same set of players,Nalkande is probably invisible, they cannot see him for two years now

He makes up speeds. Bumrah's fastest was 146.8 kph rounded off to 147 kph.

P.s -- The IPL app and IPLT20.com website usually show all speeds as 0.1 kph higher than the ones shown on TV and they are showing 146.9 kph as the quickest ball.

149kph?

That toe crushing yorker after 147 kph ball was at 149 kph.

I calculated it using my stop watch in my mobile phone.

Chahar is not given even a single over at the death. And that is the general story.

And he does not complete his quota.

I want to see where he stands if he has to bowl 2 overs at the death like most other top pacers.

He is a good bowler upfront, but he can't be played with Bhuvi this is as simple as anything, like they say"ek mayaan me do talvar nahi reh sakti",only one can be played doesn't matter if he beats even Anderson in swinging deliveries

his death bowling has gone unnoticed , for me chahar is a must in t20 side .

8/10 times he ll get a wkts in initial spell, keeps it tight and underrated in death

Krunal Pandya (7.57), R Ashwin (7.77), Mustafizzur Rehman (7.87), and Deepak Chahar (7.93) are the only bowlers with an economy below 8.

Deepak Chahar is miles ahead of anyone else who have frequently bowled in the last three overs. He is ahead of the second placed Mitchel Johnson by almost 5 points.

  • Chris Morris, Deepak Chahar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Mohammed Shami, Lasith Malinga, Navdeep Saini and Kagiso Rabada have been quite impressive in the last 3 overs. Malinga’s numbers in overs get better in overs 18-20 as compared to overs 16-17, indicating how crucial a man he is under pressure.

he is surely been doing something right and is very consistent

The results of this analysis are often stating that some ordinary bowlers are much better than some top quality international bowlers.

Hardik Pandya the bowler, Rajpoot and Siraj have higher impact factors than Bumrah, Bhuvi and Starc at the death. Hardik's impact factor as a bowler is almost the same as Rabada and Malinga at the death.

I am a big Shami fan but his death bowling in T20s is his weakest area as a bowler and he gets hit whenever I see him in this role. But he has a higher impact factor at the death than Bumrah, Rabada, Malinga etc. according to this analysis.

And how is impact factor calculated so precisely ! ?

Bumrah, Bhuvi, Starc are the worst death bowlers according to this analysis. Something is obviously not right.

Chahar is rarely bowled in the end overs. Even when he does, I don't off hand remember anything very noteworthy. Why can't Dhoni try him much at the death ? Why was his quota not completed today ?

He is a very good T20 bowler if the ball is swinging ( it rarely does ) or if the pitch is on the slower side. But how will he do on quicker flat tracks ? And how will he do if he is given 2 overs at the death almost every match ? These things need to be seen.
