Thanks for this info They are related but open chested and side on categorization is now obsolete. Your dominance depends on the angle of your back foot on first landing. Bowling and control comes easy for hip dominant bowlers but knee dominants have to work harder to get their action in alignment. Most important elements are impulse stride, backfoot contact (BFC) and pre-turn ( this is probably the most important of all) which means rotation of backfoot before front foot contact (FFC). I have explained these things multiple times in case of Kamlesh Nagarkoti and his mixed action, how lack of pre-turn hurt him in the past being a knee dominant bowler. Suhaan and mishra 2

He lacks good run-up and just last moment effort. Archer runs in well. He just doesn't seem to put any effort but Bumrah puts a lot of effort. Both are hip dominant bowlers but I think if Bumrah had better run-up and action, he could have been as effortlessly quick as Archer. mishra 1

Uppee body is all about position of Bowling and non-bowling arm. Lower body base can't be changed easily neither it is advisable to do so but need to make sure his upper body is in sync with his lower body. Another important thing is pre-turn if he has a mixed action. Edited October 6, 2020 by rkt.india Suhaan 1

express bowling Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) Bumrah has bowled 4 or 5 deliveries at 147 k and 148 k in just 2 overs so far today. But no mention of this by Harsha, Ganga or Bishop. Nor was it shown on TV in the form of speeds for the over. Indian fast bowlers are definitely getting ignored in terms of speeds by the broadcasters and commentators in IPL 2020. Similar or even lesser speeds by foreign bowlers like Cummins, Rabada and Pattinson are being marketed a lot. Disgusting. !!
