Until last season, the BCCI allowed the transfer of only uncapped player ut this time have allowed swapping or transfer of capped players, too. What are the rules and timings of mid-season transfer in IPL 2020? There are basically two rules for mid-season transfer in IPL 2020: 1) The player should not have played more than 2 matches before the date of transfer. 2) The transfer will only be applicable when the franchises have played 7 games each. I know the Ambanis have invested in him as a long-term asset, but there are teams that are in dire need of decent pace bowling options. Right now.
