WHAT IS THE MID-SEASON TRANSFER IN IPL 2020?

The BCCI allows franchises to internally trade players from one team to another. Until last season, the BCCI allowed the transfer of only uncapped player ut this time have allowed swapping or transfer of capped players, too.

What are the rules and timings of mid-season transfer in IPL 2020? 

There are basically two rules for mid-season transfer in IPL 2020:

 

1) The player should not have played more than 2 matches before the date of transfer. 

 

 

2) The transfer will only be applicable when the franchises have played 7 games each.

Here is a list of players who are eligible for mid-season transfer in IPL 2020 as on 6th October 2020: 

 
  1. Chennai Super Kings: KM Asif, Imran Tahir, Narayan Jagadeesan, Karn Sharma, Mitchell Santner, Monu Kumar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakur, R Sai Kishore, and Josh Hazlewood
  2. Delhi Capitals: Ajinkya Rahane, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Ishant Sharma, Keemo Paul, Sandeep Lamicchane, Alex Carey, Lalit Yadav, Daniel Sams, Tushar Deshpande, and Mohit Sharma.
  3. Kings XI Punjab: Arshdeep Singh, Darshan Nalkhande, Krishnappa Gowtham, Hardus Viljoen, Chris Gayle, Harpreet Brar, Jagadeesha Suchith, Mandeep Singh, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Murugan Ashwin, Deepak Hooda, Ishan Porel, Chris Jordan, Simran Singh, and Tajinder Singh

Does anybody know the contract status of Alzarri Joseph?  I know the Ambanis have invested in him as a long-term asset, but there are teams that are in dire need of decent pace bowling options. Right now.  Shouldn't he be available to sign up for 'base price'?
