zen
V for Vendetta (2005) .... Considered as one of the top films of 2000s .... How do you rate it? Is it among your favorites?
Charlie_
Its a decent movie but lead to a lot of "rebel" liberal type idiot bhindus to sport the Guy Fawkes mask in their online profiles. Some virtue signaling Commie types still do it. Jimmy Cliff and sandeep
Jimmy Cliff
I liked it but it does have a fair bit of predictive programming.
zen
I like the film but not certain to what degree (great or good or somewhere in between) as it has some great moments on one hand but on the other lacks action (relatively to what I had hoped for) and has avg acting from Natalie Portman. I would need to watch it again to reevaluate it. PS I have not read the graphic novel, however I know that there are certain changes in the film: Edited October 9, 2020 by zen
Ranvir
I've watched the movie and read the graphic novel. The movie felt like a 90s UK cop drama show at points. The graphic novel was good but was full of silly songs. I'll have to revisit both. I think Alan Moore is overrated. Watchmen was nothing special. coffee_rules
Skipped it then, was not appealing. I somehow don’t like Female leading super hero chars , except Gal Gadot. Wonder Woman was too cool
