No neutral umpires in the test series

Today's umpiring was quite biased in favor of the home side. A bit of a dampener this. Tucker, Reiffel, Oxenford all Aussies. ICC could have done better IMO. DRS is still there but marginal calls may go in favor of the home team players. Even more difficult task now.

If commentators, broadcasters from other countries can be allowed, why not match officials? Not easy for anyone but life goes on, just follow the rules of the authorities and stay in the bio-secure bubble. At least Aus/Eng have 3 elite panel umpires, what will Ind do against Eng in 2 months time?

Our umpires are simply not good enough. Disgrace that we haven't been able to produce a world class umpire after Venkataraghavan's retirement.

If international cricket wants a bigger pool of elite standard umpires   then things like exchange for example English counties and Ranji Trophy . Every country needs to start working together if we want cricket to survive . Scottish international panel umpires could work in England and Ireland another example .

These Aus umpires as so biased. In the Eng-WI series local umpires favored the home side a lot. In 1st test WI won after 5 overturned LBW decisions. Pathetic by ICC, don't care how good the elite panel umpires are, it isn't an impossible task to have neutral umpires for a marquee series like this one.
