Kohli would slot right back in at No. 4 with Rahane at 5, Pant at 6 etc. Hard to imagine that line up doing poorly in home conditions.

Vihari could have a tough time getting a place back in the team. Would be pretty unfortunate for him after this innings.

With jaddu making himself top contender for all-rounder slot even in away games, it's always hard for Vihari to get back. Needs to have a monster domestic season and wait until puji/rahane lose form.

 

He should play in the counties and improve his technique against swing. We'll always need a batsman who can play swing

Would they play Pant on Indian pitches, keeping to spinners?
