You might have forgotten him after this series, but if he works out the chinks in his armor, Prithvi Shaw could be a destructive LOI opener for India

Don't know but is he suffering from adult progeria? Werner's syndrome. He is aging so fast, already looks like 30.

I don't think it is progeria. I've seen cases first-hand; the acceleration is even more extreme. I think it could be a combination of just poor fitness, poor genetics, and perhaps some age-fudging too.

Don't think there is any age fudging. Shaw has been in limelight since he was  12, a proper 12 year old.

I think right now , the most important and critical player for T20 is an opener who can use the PP with nearly 150 strike rate . Very very specific requirement -play 6 overs and get runs at at least 150+ strike rate .

This would require some one who can get boundaries against good length deliveries on the stumps & back of length deliveries from 1 st over  , Can play over the infield , Good at Pull , upper cut , Ramp to get runs vs shortish deliveries, good at negotiating change of pace. Should be good against spin too.

Right Now KL is doing well in these aspects if he plays freely.

India should try to find out who can succeed in that role and at full form Shaw can be a candidate along with - KL, Samson, Pant, Ishan.

For one dayers - Best indian team batting could be Rohit, Shaw, Gill, Virat, KL, Pant , Hardik .

Definitely there a place for Shaw in short formats when he comes back with improvement.
