Wow... SRH only used 2 overs of Umran.   Farooqi got butchered in the last over.  Foolish & pathetic Captaincy by Kane.  I am at loss of words right now.

I'm lost at your post. Did you even watch the match?

Umran 2nd over was brilliant & only went for 5 runs against Maxwell..   What special were they were looking for in Farooqi?  Umran has been decent at the death for them.

Yes, heard of salgoankar but his contemporaries didn't give him a chance though he had a good record, and after him there is no one else to speak of in all these years .Tells you something about the type of talent and coaches they have.

Mumbai are  marginally better than tn and punjab who are rubbish when it comes to pacers ,that too because of Zak and Aggy .Shardul has done well in tests due to his outswinger but let's see how long it lasts. And Zak was not even picked by Mumbai and had to debut for Baroda, otherwise who knows might not have even played domestic let alone internationals.Mumbai doesn't produce many exciting pacers yet they couldn't give Zak a break lol, tells you something about them .The thing is their ability to produce spinners , spin bowling all rounders,wk and openers for tests is even worse .They are very one dimensional ,only good at producing middle order batsmen for tests and top order batsmen in white ball cricket.

Subhash gupte, Ravi shastri, nandkarni, mankad, ramakant Desai many more bowlers have come out from Mumbai. Guys like nilesh Kulkarni, bahutule would rip through teams for fun. Its TN that does not produce enough quality players.

Farooqi was bowling far better lengths this game, umran was all over place. Guys  DK n dhoni feast on inexperience (which evne farooqi is but umran is even more ) and u cant rattle him with pace like maxi

Kartik do struggle against high pace. Need to bowl short against him.

cant more runs be hit then 25 in an over , with umran pace expect even some wides

Even against Powell, he went for less. High pace isn't that easy to hit for sixes

How many times DK has faced pace like 150-155+?

Don't rate middle order Indian batsmen so much against that pace

Far better middle order Indian batsman than him have failed against extreme pace

no he doesnt, he struggles against leggies which is why teams saves leggies for him evrry game and RCB wait for leggies to finish over before they send

Guys like Maxi, russell, hardik, pollard has issues against high pace hard length but a guy like DK doesnt . infact their is no sample or numbers avl to suggest that. Every stat will show one thing DK struggles against googlies

extreme pace at wrong length means nothing and thats the lesson he wud have learned by last 3 games . At the end u need to bowl right lengths
