That's not because of fitness but because of his inconsistency in run-up and action. He always tries to bowl fast regardless of his fitness but ball doesn't come out right all the time. Very disappointing from Mavi. He is thinking and bowling like a medium pacer. Have not seen a single exciting delivery from him today. He had the ability to bowl deliveries that reared up from just short of a length. Have not bowled a single one in this IPL. 36 runs, in a low scoring match, is not good either. Mavi is forgetting that he came into prominence because he was bowling 145 kph. And he can see the hype that Umran is getting because of his pace. But is there time left for making changes ? Siraj is someone who is doing well at international level ... and when such a player is doing well in the IPL too, I don't know how he has been ignored. It is not as if he is like a Harshal or Avesh, who haven't played in international matches.
