I remember when Vaibhav debuted first for PBKS, there too he bowled decent amount of deliveries in early 140s with peak around 143. Vaibhav's lack of pace I feel is partially down to his wrist execution. Instead of pulling the seam down with force down a straight line, his wrist is always at an angle looking for early, weak swing.

He is getting thrashed. And why tests ? This is T20s. Selectors may try to push Kamboj in the T20I squad but doubt Gambhir will want him. Mosher 1

Think he has some red ball skills, Recipe for disaster to play him in Lois.

Yes or other scenario is use a proper swing bowler and 3-4 spinners on dust bowls. having said that need all types of bowlers and I am not impressed by this Aquib from Kashmir. I feel that Bhuvi, Akashdeep quota can go to him. We judged him too harshly on his debut. Don’t get me wrong he is trundlerish 130-140 max but I feel he has some good red ball skills and line.

Conventional swing hardly works in most test venues in India. Max 5 to 6 overs. While the quick reverse swing bowlers come into play when spinners are stuck. Kamboj must first showcase that he can sustain his near full pace throughout the day. One 132 k ok spell and then 125 k floaty later spells won't work. In his hey days, Bhuvi could bowl 130 to 135 k with good seam position and zip even in his last spell of the day. And when he could not, he was gone. rollingstoned, speedster, bouncers and 2 others 5
