I think we are over estimating the impact of bounce in Aus, their pitches are quite flat and I am sure the world cup is gonna be a run fest. Jadeja is a poor spinner in t20s and going with him as a lone spinner is a bad strategy. Also Prasidh isn't really a good t20 bowler as of now, he is good for odis and can do well in tests. One among Natarajan,Arshdeep or Khaleel might also be kept in the squad as a left arm option. Khaleel has been pretty good with the new ball while Natarajan and Arshdeep are good at the death. While I agree that Dudeja is just pathetic... But we are playing Pak in MCG & SA in Optus Perth.. Both are quite pacy in nature especially Perth. Two main opponents on faster grounds.. Not Sydney or flat Adelaide or Canberra. Suhaan and express bowling 2

This 11 is for pitches which aid pace and bounce. Chahal will be in the squad and can replace one of the younger quicks on pitches where he is needed. Prasidh has actually been very good in the PP overs and there are Bumrah and Harshal for death bowling. Edited April 17, 2022 by express bowling Suhaan and Mosher 2

Bro weather here is weird. It can be sunny one day. Then rains the next with floods and hail. In general, October November would be spring ish. December is summer. October November December should be hot. With rain Interspersed randomly. Suhaan 1

Remember what india got for odi series in Australia in 2020? 350 plus scores. It will be those ones. Good batsmen with nice pull shots, cut shots will thrive here. Bounce will be there but not too much for t20. Definitely need pace. Pace is key. Need only ONE SPINNER. ONE. Adamant 1

We played against WI in Perth &, that pitch had a lot of bounce. We witnessed a low scoring thriller. CB series prior to that was played in Brisbane & MCG & low scoring games happened. Ind vs Aus decider ODI in MCG 2018.. Pitch had a lot of life.. Another low scoring thriller. Edited April 17, 2022 by Lone Wolf express bowling 1

But still on the flatter side for LoI. They have to accommodate for afl and stupid rugby league.

( Adelaide can be sluggish on occasions too ) The Canberra pitch in that series was not bad. I expect a lot of pitches this time to be both bouncy as well as true bounce. Bowling quickly in good areas will help. Accuracy has to be there along with pace and bounce. Edited April 17, 2022 by express bowling Suhaan, Vijy and Mosher 3

If our selectors build the squad based on the perception of those Sydney pitches in late 2020 then we will be in for a tough time. A squad for multi-conditions and choosing the 11 based on the pitch, maybe the key. Vijy, DarkProfile, Mosher and 2 others 5

MCG can be bipolar & u never know what u will get. Perth sure as hell will be fast. Test match pitch in 2018 vs India was super super fast. ODIs played there have offered great bounce too. Suhaan 1
