Would like to see how some of the Ind bowler progressed :

Rana-KKR

Tiyagi- SRH

Arjun-MI

Mukesh and Simranjeet-CSK

Mayank Yadav- LSG heard he's got pace

Also if there are any decent T20 wkt-batter , rt. now only Jitesh -PK comes to the mind.

Any good legspin/mystery spin this season ??

Usual suspects...Mayank Markande, Rahul Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi.

Kumar Karthikeya is another one.

Wish someone burns the guns with 160 thunderbolts, someone from us

I think Umran can go for it, given he will have backing from Steyn.
Kartik Tyagi if remains fit should also go for 150+, he may probably as he considers Umran as his competitor.
Kuldeep Sen's dream was also to touch 150, he fell shy of that last year...hope he cross this time.

Only Karthikeya looked like had something special - Can bowl both wrist and finger spin.

Bishnoi- Needs to work on leg spin he is more of a wrist off spinner

In my opinion Umran can come close to 160 kmph if handled and guided properly.

Tyagi is too fargile has he ever bowled 150+  not just one ball here/there, RR needs to give more chances to Sen.

Tyagi was marginally quicker than Sen...many of deliveries were in 146-148 bracket....but with his height and swing he will be an asset even if he bowls at 140-144 range...just need to take it slow and then gradually up the pace as he plays along. Although if he considers Umran as his competitor then I guess he will give 100% from first match itself.

Sen was majorly in 143-146 range with fastest around 149. I guess he will play regularly this year as Prasidh is injured and he is similar to Prasidh in height.

Rajasthan Royals have named swing bowler Sandeep Sharma as a replacement for their 10 crore man Prasidh Krishna who was recently ruled out of the season after he underwent surgery for a stress fracture.

@express bowling@Mosherh

What do you make of all this?Swing bowler for a hit the deck tall bowler, don't see any difference in thought process going into this while comparing it with the think tank we have for senior side

First, franchisees would be limited to picking from the domestic options available in the remaining pool (unlike India which has no restrictions) as talented players would already be in other squads and also would need to consider what is available in their squad (Kuldeep Sen, Saini, etc.).

Second, with the impact rule, a player like Sandeep (if chosen. Being in the squad does not mean that he will get games regularly) can be used in power play and substituted if required.

Not much stock left out there - Sandeep Sharma, Thampi, Aaron  and Kulkarni are all they have who have some IPL exp. Outside of these it will be an uncapped Ind domestic bowler.

MI has not announced replacement for Bhumrha as well. Either they select some from these or bring someone from their net bowler/development plan.

As for RR they do not have a big development plan around domestic player. So they picked whatever left out there.

MI probably wanted Sandeep Sharma as well considering the options. Let’s see what it does!

Hope they opt for Sushant Mishra or Purnank Tyagi....atleast one domestic pacer with potential.

Sports Hour was saying Basit Basheer could join MI

So only 1 intnl level bowler -Archer? Do not think they will have another uncapped bowler

They might rope in Sandeep Warrier

Akash Singh in for Mukesh in csk.

Good, he might play as a left arm pacer.
I would like to see how much he has improved his pace, was 134-140 in U-19
