Said this when I watched his first game for KKR.

He is closest to a Test standard bowler we need right now.

Him sen and umran can all play tests right now. Just unleash them.

Also people keep forgetting his name. Remember prasidh is stillnnot back

Do you know what he did in ranji? Wait till he comes back. He also will butcher Oz in helpful conditions. He is like hazlewood clone with more pace.

KKR retards were playing Has-Been Umesh Yadav over Harshit this whole time?

Tbh umesh us built like a tank and still bowls over 140 in shorter formats. In India eggsperience is key for some fkn reason. Eggsperi3nce over everything. Moron esque outmoded way of thinking.

Yes, but pace atleast is a basic foundation on which a bowlers skills can be developed.

If a bowler has pace and good height, he automatically gets an advantage in comparison to others who are short and low in pace. Once the accuracy develops then it becomes a lethal weapon.

Tyagi, Sen, Harshit have pace, skills and good height...Harshit and Sen has accuracy as well, Tyagi will gain that once he plays few matches.

Tyagi 6'2

Harshit 6'1 - 6'2 and built like a brick

Sen 6'3

Saw Umran bowl for J&K in a televised match. He looked totally disinterested and was just going through the motions. So it is not easy to pick him as a default choice by his state team. Plus he is travelling with our white ball team during half their matches.

While Harshit and Tyagi bowl their hearts out when bowling for Delhi and UP respectively. And are available if fit.

That entire team looks disinterested with Jammu players.

There are atleast two more Jammu bowlers who can bowl 90mph. Neither has played any domestic matches.

I hope Avinash singh manhas gets a few games for RCB. He is quick and gets bounce.

Bounce? he's shorter than Umran and near similar action

He's talked about being quick though

Let's see how he unfolds

He is 5'7. Better off focusing on becoming an AR

Height is only second biggest factor for bounce.

Bang it hard and it will bounce big. If you know physics, speed can be resolved into two parts- call it Cos and Sin, or just horizontal and vertical. The vertical component decides how much it will bounce. But we don't measure it in cricket.

Some short bowlers get natural bounce from a particular length.

Being side on plus short height makes it difficult for  bowlers to execute it properly

Biomechanics plays a huge part

Shorter height shorter trajectory(ball pitching) while making an attempt to bowl bouncer, sits nicely on slow/most surfaces these days

Exactly !

Short pacers with round arm actions find it difficult to impart high vertical velocity on the ball for getting bounce.

Most medium height pacers who get natural bounce have high arm actions like Bumrah or Siraj.

Most shorties don't. Plus it's harder for shorties to pitch it short.

Short under 5'9 as a cut off. And that's pushing it. 5'11 for a bowler imo atleast.

Also bounce. If you can't generate bounce consistently, I would say find another sport to play unless you bowl atleast 135 kmph and have other skills to support yourself like batting ability. Just quit.

If you bowl Under 135 speed then make sure you can bat with an average of atleast 18 plus.

Over 135 then you need consistent bounce. Period.

Pace without bounce is useless.

Kuldeep Sen removed from Subs List.

Just 1 bad over and he is out.

Last time he played, he was out after 2 good overs.

Sen is dropped...well done RR.

Samson brings his Ranji teammate Asif back in the subs again. Wish Sen got as many chances as Asif.
