ICC should look into such actions ... it going lower and lower, Pathirana is  lower is than baseball pitcher almost how fielders throw. Not saying he is chucking just how low is too low.

I agree. It is becoming like underarm bowling.

Nortje is coming of an injury and does not have much cricket behind him, it was same last season too first few games he bowled into early 140s and then started to crack it up as the season went on.

Its just IPL team wants 75-80% fit intnl player to play in 11 and sometimes they are not ready. Same thing happen with Archer with MI he was unfit and they wanted him to produce results up front.

IPL TM are well aware of the injuries and recoveries but still they want intnl player in 11.

Trying to remember consistent good performances from SENA pacers in the last few years.. can't think of anyone

They are useless, you don't need them in these conditions.unless they can swing the new ball there is no need to pick pacers.

Pathirana is different prefect yorkers in 150s v.hard to dig out, no batter would like to face him in t20s or when they have to go after bowling.

This is one few actions that work for quick in t20s,without it you get more Nokia's.

Those who are good in white ball and getting more matches in IPL are picking up wkts for their sides- Behrendorff, Hazlewood, Boult, Rabada, etc.

They might not be going full tilt at times but they do not need to. Also if IPL team starts preferring Ind faster Ind bowlers over the sub 140 kmph and their is some competition to SENA players they will go full tilt all the time. Similar to what is with the competition amongst Ind batters and Overseas batters, Overseas batters know they have to create impact with their batting need to play match winning knocks else there are local (Ind capped/Uncapped) player who too can play accumulator role and hit only after reaching certain personal scores.

Its just how the competition is, same thing if u have font line bowlers bowling into 135 kmph you wont find allrounders bowling at 140 kmph. then they will play as specialist bowlers.

Will RR unleash Kuldeep Sen today  ??

Who do they drop-out. Snadeep has been their go to in death / defensive bowler. Avesh is current Ind intnl bowled good last overs

Can happen only if RR bowl 2nd and Sen is an impact sub.

Would u pick Mohit(GT) for T20i WC , he was 2nd highest wkt taker just 1 wkt less than Shami (top wkt taker) last season.

And now Mohit already had a good start.

How about Sandeep Sharma - Defensive bowlers able to stop run flow and create pressure had decent last IPL and a good start to this IPL too ??

Death bowling is a thankless job, last time we had harshal, but these are the best of a bad lot,.

Ideally if they could bat and had a quicker ball as well then it would be easier to pick,at least mohit is a good athlete and can field.

Yes not having any batting ability hurts, too lose with playing combination. Sandeep is good out-fielder

Jofra in 2020

Nortje in 2021

Rabada in 2022.

Mark Wood in 2023 (only 4 matches though )

High pace bowlers have done well.

20-22 pitches were different.

even in 23 ,lsg home pitches were up and down which helped wood.
