Russell David are all same. Patidar plays on backfoot so he is waiting. Mayank is still troubling him but needs to vary the length

cricspirit Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Mayank did not bowl as badly as last time. Patidar was good. He was in the mood. Got 3 sixes of him. Still feels mayank is bowling well within himself and not going all out. As long as he is watching his fitness, there is time for him.. I do not like the slow balls from Mayank. Not sure if LSG will play him another game, but he definitely can't be bowling at 140-150 range and be predictable. He has to bowl quicker which we has doing in his first season. Need4Speed Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Mayank just got predictable..need to work on more pace and be tactical..need to bowl more and more..toil at domestic after this IPL..to prove long term fitness..he will get better tapandrun and express bowling 2
tapandrun Posted May 7 Posted May 7 After 1st ball of the spell clocking at 150 kmph thought he was coming back to his express bowling. but after that many 145+ kmph balls but nothing close to 150 kmph. Think he will go through the same old pattern -- Started as express bowler for 8 over season 1-ipl , then 145+ kmph touching 150 kmph here and there and then will settle down for high 130s and mid 140s kmph
