I have not seen Don Bradman plus I think his time is irreverent now for most discussions. I cant argue with statistics but considering him as a freak of his time. I will also ignore the likes of  Graeme Pollock, Sobers and George Headley.

Sachin Tendulkar in my opinion is the most perfect and complete batsman of the last 50 years.

The next few on my list  in no order would be -

Viv Richards

AB De Villiers

Sunil Gavaskar

Steve Smith

AB de Villiers

Why no Greg Chappell or Barry Richards? Was Viv so technically sound or correct?

Kalicharan? Sounds like the name of a villain in a Manmohan Desai multi-starer.

Jokes aside, take a look at the list.

Most of the people on the list are those who even my father wouldn't have seen play. People would huddle around a communal radio and listen to commentary. How do you judge perfection on the basis of ancient commentary in dull monotone?

I've seen, live at that, MSD hit a helicopter 6 to win a WC in his home country. That's perfection right there.

See Videos of Kalicharan batting then you will see his genius. Remember 78 of 35 ball sin 1975 world cup.Technically more organised than any left hander.

Lara

Tendulkar

Kallis (though he's not in your poll)

Kallis was not explosive or attacking consistently.Lara was flawed genius, and not so perfect technically.

Then you should add "technically" in the OP. No? :dontknow:

Perfect and technically perfect are two entirely different things IMO.

I am analysis combination of every factor. Not just technique or just attacking skill or artistry.Laxman could pulverize attacks but was not a technical master like Vishwanath .Do see my best 12 and then comment.

Plesae refer to my OP kindly. The poll was randomly  for selection for fans but my OP list was the genuine selection.

Didn't watch 11 out of the 12 players on your list play live but fair enough..

Yeah he was a rock like Dravid nothing much flowed through at his peak. Zilch.
