Shockingly his glove work was amazing. So contrary to popular belief he can keep well in tests as well. Saha played that match and kept in the first innings. I'm talking about doing it for whole Test.

Pant and Kishan can be compared to Dhoni,Boucher etc with Gilchrist being the highest standard.

See the whole point is if a guy has done in a test match inns when he wasn't even doing it in ODIs for India makes this a pretty great deal. He must have even improved on it six years later. KLR will be fine as a back up test match keeper.

A very classical batter he is, looks technically compact of what Ive seen. An obvious upgrade on Bharat but no Sanga ofcourse, atleast not now Found a complition video of him batting . Faces Saini, Siraj, Natarjan at times. ShoonyaSifar 1

Good prospect. Vickydev 1

Upendra and Akshay Wadkar of Vidarbha are the next two classical FC keepers other than Bharat. Jagdeeshan (TN) is another one with decent record across formats. Among the younger lot, Anuj Rawat (Delhi) and Prabhsimran Singh (Punjab) can become contenders if they have a good season. Vickydev 1
