Then he canters or jogs on most occasions. Running fast would mean that the ball might be in his touching distance. No sir, he will jog...escort the ball safely to the boundary. Then after the ball-boy hands over the ball to his hand( careful, there are many a slip between the cup and the lip. So better to hand it over), he will give a smile with his 43 abnormal teeth. Even jonty wouldn't smile about a job well done so much. His pick up and throw will put our other great fielders like Nehra, Saurav and the greatest bowler during our golden age Venky to shame. He normally tries to pick up with one hand. Once robin singh (the idiot who started drinking after not being able to teach Munaf fielding) begged him to pick up with both hands. But our Munaf said "No Sir!". He showed Robin Singh a stone on the ground and picked it with one hand. He told robin that he applies the same principle to a moving ball...only thing is that he will wait until the ball stops... Robin Singh fainted on spot. The BCCI covered it up by saying that it was nothing but dehydration. Munaf Patel by the way is his village's Sarpanch . He plays cricket as a part time job. His ambition is to catch a running cheetah and eat its meat. He has hair all over his body and even on his left knee. But his knee was left with a scar after a brain surgery. He once blackmailed a jouno to write that he was the fastest bowler in the indian team. When the journo refused, Munaf the Sarpanch started to sing " Its my life". ICC however allowed a substitute fielder while Munaf is not bowling.
