So Bangladesh will go into group B irrespective of whether they finish 1st or 2nd. That'll mean Scotland will go into Group A.

Afghan beat WI in warmups. They wont be pushover

And of course there's the usual scenario where we play a bunch of soft games before the knock out stage only to get overwhelmed by an decent team in the SF/finals.

 

We faced Ire, Zim and Ban before playing Australia in the 2015 semi and got thrashed. 

 

Faced Ban and SL before playing NZ in the 2019 sf and got beaten.

WI are awful at the moment filled with has beens. India, NZ and pak are much better all round teams than them. Besides, they treated that game as a glorified net practice with chase score 50(55) or something. 

 

I don't expect Afg to do much barring the games against the two qualifiers.

Scotland are actually quite a decent team. Good dynamic batting order, decent bowling attack, good spinners in Wheal and Hargreaves... Looks like a team who'll "upset" Poyzz..
