Cricket needs 11 specialist batsmen when batting and 1 WK + 10 bowlers when bowling … Need to rewrite for the playing 11, I mean 22 Good approach if the substitution rules allow that. Meanwhile just do as I s as y

Do you need this new stuff called LSD? Yes, when we expect more from him & teams plan him out that's when his real test will be. But let's not make light of his bowling or batting achievements just yet, FYI he's better in the longer formats than T20's at least IMO. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. No I have no use for that
zen Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Thakur is not an AR but a bowler who can bat a bit. He is like a Chetan Sharma or an Agarkar who can hita few good knocks here and there when at his best. If he does not bowl well, he will not be picked anyways. Edited November 9, 2021 by zen

Tumbaktoo had two teams play against each other - team 22 v team 11. Team 22 won. The body analysts who studied the cricketers discovered that T22, bodies performed more optimally, allowing them to stretch further. In another game, a concept of T31 was tried against T22 where now the T31 had 11 specialist batsmen while batting, and 1 WK + 9 best fielders + 10 bowlers in rotation. T31 performed better than T22

No problem with that. No why did you exempt Pndya from that requirement. Same community?

As I have explained before, SDP is picked mainly for batting now. Played as a specialist batsman in Aus and scored 2 90s in ODIs and was MoS in T20s. He is one of the cleanest strikers of the ball. That he can bowl too and that too at 140+ makes him a rare Indian talent. Edited November 9, 2021 by zen

Imran, at the peak of his bowling career wasnt a great batsman. At the peak of his batting career, he wasnt bowling much. But in any event, just about 8-10 allrounders in the last 60-70 yrs would suggest that these players are an aberration than the rule. sarcastic and Khota 2
