I agree cricket team is a microcosm of society and your society is highly radicalized.  It reflects in how your cricketers invoke religion in anything and everything. 

 

Winning a single cricket match against India results in comments about religious superiority and other idiotic comments from your ministers , from your former cricketers like Waqar and Akhtar.  

 

This radical path will only lead to one outcome for your society.  And what TLP and TTP are doing is a "microcosm" of that.  

 

We had one bad tournament where we lost crucial tosses and paid the price for poor selection and bad captaincy.

 

India's C team won a test series against Aus in Aus against their full strength team. Not once - but to back to back series. For Pakistan, even drawing a test match in Aus is a national achievement. You have lost 14 test matches on a trot ( 4 back to back series whitewash) 

 

Pakistan cricket overall is a minnow compared to India which has been the No.1 ranked test team for 5 consecutive years before losing it momentarily.

 

The gulf is only going to get wider. 

 

You will only get Indian sympathies when you de-radicalize as a society and put a full stop to religious ideologies.
