Imagine Pakistan in 90s. Winning most bikaterals vs India and then getting their ass kicked by india in WC. Same thing

No wonder we s*** our pants when we face full strength sides at 100% effort in ICC tourneys. 

 

Kiwis had Hamisha Benett & Kuggleign type bowlers as well...  No Boult & Ferguson. 

Winning t20 bilaterals means sh***.  England won some 10 odd t20 series b2b & got KO'ed. 

Australia lost 4-5 b2b & are playing finals.  Someone should teach our players to play scoop shots like Wade to be considered fit enough for T20.

Tbf india beat full strength Kiwis in odi series before WC in 2019. Still we lost in semi finals although we were unlucky due to rain, toss factor and also game being played over 2 days.

Not only did pakistan smash india in bilateral in the 90s they actually won a world cup as well while india won nothing.
