vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Need a separate thread for this match. Cameron Green just picked up his first Test wicket.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 By the way the catch was breath taking.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Lot of bounce and carry. Love Gabba wicket

vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 I cannot believe how they still back Rory Burns lol
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Captain Cummins in charge. Picks up his third wicket. Eight down.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 The reason England collapses frequently even in their own conditions is due to poor openers. Openers are the ones that decide how the overseas series in these parts go. gooner 1
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 46 ducks for England in 2021. Amazing stat.
nitinbwj Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 140-8 .. the great Joe Root falls for anda. Minnows..
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Australia is letting the tail add useful runs.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Rooting for Cummins to pick the fifer in his first Test as captain. 1 wicket left. 1 wicket to pick up a fifer
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 I would give anything to have a fielder like Hazlewood on the boundary. Another great catch. Cummins fifer in the first innings as captain. What a dream debut.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Anil Kumble/Walsh were the two captains that previously achieved this feat of picking a fifer on debut as captain.
Norman Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Once again, we have to take a moment, tip our hats and bow down to Pant, Gill, Siraj, Sundar and Thakur for doing what they did 10 months back... Absolute superhuman effort.
vvvslaxman Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Cricinfo should change the photo of hameed lol poyzzplaidwell 1

Absolute superhuman effort. This pitch is much more bouncy and pacier though.

That will make bumrah shami siraj even more dangerous and potent. Their batsmen can't handle the heat. That's why they prepare flats. They weren't confident of beating us in the last test. That's why they prepared a better and still lost. Norman 1

Any misstep there we would have seen more sub 100 all outs.

They only needed one wicket of pant or ashwin; we would have got screwed in 2 overs. Although they ere extremely tired so thats obviously a factor too at that point.
