There is more here than meets the eye. I had a chance to visit SA for a bit. My first feeling was that this country is a tinderbox. Corrupt politicians. Incompetent. More than 50% unemployment. More than 60 % living in absolute poverty. Racial tension.

yes, it's surprising they have not had major internal conflicts like a civil war. it could potentially happen at some point.
