playing kishan this series did not work out. shaw should have been tried out. kishan would have been better tried out at 3 IMO.

this guy is technically unsuitable for international cricket but we picked a hack like ishan kishan then i dont see why a better hack like Shaw cant be picked.

Shaw and Gill are from the same under-19 batch. In that world cup Gill was head and shoulders above many players. Somehow he has been type-casted. He is still evolving. He was as good as Kohli was at that age. Better than him. Kohli managed to transform himself into a ODI beast. Isn't it outlandish to think Gill can do the same? He is still the best unlocked potential we have.

Shaw should be tried ahead of Ruturaj in T20Is. Ruturaj is an anchor and not a great player of pace bowling. He can come in place of Kohli or when Kohli retires but not now.

sadly shaw is out of form and confidence, as seen from ranjis. hopefully IPL can help him rediscover some of his mojo. should have played for india in 50 over cricket after his VHT of last year.
