Not sure I agree with you on that one. His working knowledge on the language in matters relating to cricket is splendid. Of course I'd be glad if he sticks to cricket in the commentary box.

Somehow I am unable to imagine him describing the game ball by ball fluently - going by the hundreds of interviews I watched of him in English. He will be great in overall insights or in describing the issues of a bowler or batsman - no doubt about that. Commentating on a game of cricket - I don't think he will be good. Commentating is also about engaging viewers through emotions,etc. Ask him to explain why say KP struggles against SLA - he will be a master at that explaining mindset, foot movement, field placement,etc. I don't want to see Sachin in commentary box but I respect your opinion though :two_thumbs_up:
