By referring to Pak, automatically BD gets included as well..   Pak & BD are brothers from different mothers.  (As confirmed by official statements released by the current regime of both these banana republics).

As happens in sub continent that super-stars overstays their welcome bd 1st gen. super-stars did the same and not giving opportunity to next gen player.

 

bd is getting good fast bowlers iike rana, ebadot, Tanzim etc. and they always have some spinner who can bat too.rather than dividing the resources in 3 formats concentrate on 1, afgn has been successful because they donot need to divide the resources in 3 formats.

 

They picked t20s as the format build a team around it and then started getting better in odis too.

And atleast for white-ball bd needs to build good wkts, they prepare sluggish wkts that supports spin and then they win series there defeating good team too like Ind and Aus.

But this does not help when bd plays in icc events as the pitches are not sluggish and these days teams are prepared to lose in bilateral series just to gain some exp. and see if some of their players can cope-up with such condition and use this exp. in test or may be one off game here and there.

 

Ind has not won an odi series in bd for a long time now. they seems to have progressed but then again they go back to sq.1 everytime

 

 

 

to be fair, they were a top 5-6 team around 2019 under Mashrafee - and they did play like that during that world cup. But after *BD Legends* retired (don't think Shakib retired yet? or came close to retirement) - that team is no longer the team that could challenge the best ODI teams around the world.

I remember just before that match they were being touted as the best white ball Pace attack in the World, even by many Indians and ICFers. Must admit even I was taken in by their hype.

They should first play and win against Afghanistan A and Kenya B team.  That's a fair fight for them.
