TBH bowling is also inconistent, can have as many off days as good 

 

Maybe if they send stokes as opener then their teams look better on paper atleast.

Good thing for them is Malan does well in Australia and stokes could do so much better as opener. That position may not be great for hales but he played there before and done okay i guess.

I think stokes failures against india is real issue. If he would have done well against us he would have averaged around 38-40.

yes stokes as opener is the best solution, stokes in t20 can only work in top 3

he did well for RR at open and plays pace very well. At the end his quality is more then hales or malan

Cummins looked okayish in India & even better vs WI recently.  Perhaps has found that Haris Rauf/Mark Wood length with  140k+ speeds. 

 

Starc looks too floaty & erratic.   Nathan Ellis exclusion may come back to haunt Aus. 

But thing with Starc is he is a big game player...  Raises his game in Tournaments & is known for meme spells when he is unstoppable.

our advantage wud be long stadiums and pitches with better pace bounce which nullifies these avg teams

I barely get to see him playing T20 cricket...  Plays only 2-3 T20s per year.  You are not going to get settled...  Better should allow guys like Duckett Phil Salt to play as specialists.  This is Gayle Russell Pollard Behavior from Stokes.
