Tbh I've read that they've now revamped their fc cricket structure to have more department teams along with the regular ones in 2 div so the general player pool is bigger as someone in their infinite wisdom decided a few yrs ago that 6 teams in the top div would be enough for a country of 200mn people and would infact lead to only the cream of the crop making it in a ruthless filtering process. Lol. Maybe that will improve things somewhat going fwd.

All the best Indian players also played country cricket then but our first class system has always been good so we were not dependent on the skills learned over there as much to be able to put out a good team.

Even in the 90s we had some decent performances abroad too, just that we did not quite win the important moments both with bat and ball. It got better going into the 00s.

Third umpire referral is comical in Pakistan lol. Even gully cricket will have more audience than this. Stadium is so empty that i can hear echo.

Thats exactly what they are doing this morning. Its evident.  They want to just keep batting and batting. Not much intent whatsoever.  1 or 2 poyz bowlers might get niggled before the 2nd test.  LOL

NZ intent is fine. Not to give wickets and stretch the lead as much as possible, even if at snails pace

Hmm.   I think they will start hitting a few once the lead grows.   This pitch is likely to get demerit points by icc.  Absolutely crap.  Nothing for the bowlers.  Dont recall any other country producing as many crap pitches as Pak in the recent times

Karachi is such a dud venue.....  Fatichar stadium & zero vibe. 

Pindi test vs Eng was at least decent viewing.  Open stadiums hide the infra hideousness & crowd experience is good.

Would say new zelasnd prapres **** pitches. When they beat us 2 0. Ridiculous pitches. Pitch was greener than the field.

They prepare pitches based on how good the opposition is. Against Pakistan they generally prepare flat pitches.
