Ashwin - IPL 2024 edition

Delaying impact player entry point is a strategy as per Ashwin. Basically getting certain guys early sometimes becomes counter productive. lol Is he talking about Kohli,  Kela?

Ashwin is not overly against removal of impact rule.  He believes bowlers have to get better. As per Ashwin in next few years all 11 players will be swinging from the hip.

Kings XI is powerhouse batting line up. They are just unfortunate to have a poor foreign returns. - Ashwin has good opinion about pKXI. But peeda is trolling that take. Ash is defending PKXI.

Yes not much can be done when everyone loses form together. Effort is there definitively. Also unlucky losing right at the end.

Some unforced errors though.

looks like Ashwin's focus has moved onto youtube video making.. no wonder he is doing zilch in the field....

Not that he was a clutch fielder back in his younger days, you know, 200 years ago.

But his points are interesting to listen to.  He talks about matches, behind the scenes unlike the dances, prank videos from others. As long as he delivers for INdia in Test we should be good.

Kuldeep's one is quite good - first time I'm hearing such an in-depth perspective from him. Credit to Kuldeep for opening up about his own ego (or pride as Ashwin put it), insecurities to adapt and his trust issues with technical inputs. Used to be frustrated with Kuldeep as a generational talent going to waste, but some of it makes sense now - him being torn between simply sticking to his beliefs vs adapting based on abstract criticism thrown without solutions.
