Fast bowling all rounders are valuable. Sadly we are using Thakur for that. That guy's batting has declined big time. He got a fluke 50 in the WTC final. Other than that his last meaningful 50 in Test was at the ovall in 2021

Thakur is just fine at number 8.He has done exceedingly well in chances has been given.

Boland has been so rubbish this ashes and our batting made him look like prime McGrath in the WTC.

So true, they were so timid against him.

Prime for prime

Cummins - bumrah

Hazlewood - siraj

Starc - ishant

Marsh - thakur

Prime for Prime this would be equally good.

Now we need to develop new ones.

Bumrah

Siraj/prasidh

Possibly harshit who can bat wooohoo

Add in the outstanding bawa or hangeraker

Going to be good if we make correct selections.

With batting we should aim to pick jaiswal shaw patidar and dhull

We will be good.

4, 10, 0 , 28, 12, 5, 1, 4, 51, 0  Those after his twin fifties at the oval

That is tailendersque stuff. He is not an all rounder as much as like to believe.

Boland is just line and length trundler without any skills

Even Marsh is swinging the ball more than him.

Our batting is the worst ever. This is our worst unit in our history from memory. So yes. We need to pick the young gen players.

No point in giving one or 2 games and then sideline them If they fail. Need to give long rope. Which means 10 tests.

He really is. Our batsmen suck. That's it. Just old now. We need new batsmen.

You cannot keep moving everyone to middle order when whole life they have been openers.

Batting at number 4 also needs the ability to handle new ball. His hard hands will be a problem.

His role is to be aggressive and is doing that. Technique is workable

He's suited to Aus pitches where there's bounce. Without that he's useless.

Our guys would get out to Stuart Binny

Who said he was an allrounder , you expect 100s from number 8.He is number 8 who has ability to bowl  his overs and take important wickets.

Fast bowling allrounders don't grow on trees. Do we have anyone better?

Unlike KL Rahul he is atleast posivie. Kela has both technical and mental issues.

Technique is not workable at this level after playing so many matches.

if it was so easy to change, Kohli would have developed a backfoot game.

Yes.

Hanergakar

Bawa

These are talented players. They need chances. Which won't come until they hit 30.

Kohli has gone worse.

Minor issues like hard hands can be sorted.

Kohlis issue is eyesight my dude.

He has poor eyesight. Reflex is gone now.

He is super fit. But that won't help his eyes. Amla struggled too around the same age.

Kohli also looks like he is lying about his age. He is the same age as Smith yet looks 5 years older.

I don't think Crawley's issues are minor, his hard hands and him being a complusive driver are not easy to change while playing international cricket.

Let us hope you are right, I have not seen both them to comment.

We need to look for one. Otherwise going in with 4 rank tailenders will continue costing us games.
