His wicket will decide the fate of this test and this series. with a big weakness vs offspin. and Eng have 2 offspinners in moeen and root. Frustrated 1

vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Rahul Dravid and Rosh** must be watching two offies bowling in tandem against two left handers. One coming after so many years. One is a part timer.

Dravid is an idiot, he let go Arun who made one thing which was good in Indian cricket fast bowling and ran into the ground by trundler culture and hiring useless Paras as a coach. Shami was no less of an idiot instead of credit Bharat Arun for his renaissance was giving himself all the credit for working hard.

Sgattick10 Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 We are so behind in cricket analysis, data, strategy, fitness that it's embarrassing.. Chutiya richest board only knows to mint money.

He bowled a lot of overs to him. Hardly effective. India tactically missed an offie. Even a part time offie would have done wonders that too at oval. England trusts someone who has a terrible record against these Australian batsmen more than India trusts someone who is an elite bowler against their batsmen.
vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I am absolutely not surprised by this at all. I saw the Pak series where ball did absolutely nothing. They created artificial pressure with funky field sets and persistent line and length, variations. Pakistan succumbed to it on a flat road. Australia/NZ also toured there. They couldn't do t he same. You cannot create an offie when you don't have it. Ashwin not playing the test was right decision. Rohit handling the bowlers was awful, he ran both opening bowlers down by giving them extended spell in first session of test itself. Edited June 17, 2023 by putrevus
vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 You should tip your hat off to Pant and Jadeja for their 100s against this strategic team. He simply bossed them

See the reason ash dint play was due to the previous wtc final and his record in England. If they are basing it on wtc final vs nz that honestly doesn't make sense either cause he actually got a couple of wickets there. I think we should have used unadkat at 9. Thakur at 8. Playing bharat over kishan was wrong. Lefties troubl3d Australia.
