vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Mark wood is not just all about pace. He is moving the ball into right handers. He is not a gun barrell straight bowler.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 W & W are in tandem 23 out of 34 wickets went to them.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 ooops.. If Moeen reacted a touch early or if it were someone like Glen Phillips that would have been a catch.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 45th over ball ils swinging back in. Kookaburra would lose its swing in 10 to 15 overs. That is a massive difference. SENA should be split into SNA and E due to different balls.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Labu is taking time out for injury break after Mark wood
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Woakes is clocking 83 mph. Bairstow is standing up now as Marsh was coming down regularly.
Lord Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Have to see whether Australia bat time looking for rain to save them or go for runs and try to set 150 target
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 5 minutes ago, Lord said: Have to see whether Australia bat time looking for rain to save them or go for runs and try to set 150 target They won't have the balls to do that after the hammering they got in the first innings. Cummins is running out of gas. With some indentation spinners can come into play. They don't have that either.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Ball is reversing for Mark Wood. Almost sneaked under Marsh's bat
Kothili Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 what a contrast from that shitshow Ind vs WI game. Lord 1

They are trying to survive the weather and the bowling. Perfect conditions for bowling.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 (edited) Punter makes an interesting point. Australian bouncers are not as effective as England bouncers because they were unable to get the ball high enough like England did. Sangakkara echoed the same thoughts yesterday Edited July 22, 2023 by vvvslaxman
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 lol Bairstow 8.2 meters . Before the match he measured at what length that ball rolled to dismiss Root and he has been chirping with that measurement.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Bouncer ploy in effect. Even Anderson is part of it. Round t he wicket to right hander with backward square leg.
rollingstoned Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Lol Marsh is pujara balling out there after that whirlwind century the previous test.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Bad light So England cannot use seamers now. So forced change. Moeen Ali is bowling. Lucky that they also have root. So they can use two spinners due to bad light. Otherwise they will have to leave the field.
