Sachin was in decline for more than 12 years before his one good year in 2010.Smith decline is better than most batsman's prime.

 

Smith will be fine for another 3 or 4 years. Carey is too early in his career.

no, he wasn't. I understand you don't like him, but he did very well from 2007-2011.

 

I expect smith to retire in another 2 years, because he doesn't seem the type of overstay (unlike Ind players and also Punter)

it's been enough to challenge aus, whose own batting is full of holes. labu and smith are very inconsistent, warner is a dud, and travball didn't come off all the time. mostly up to khawaja

Bairstow is playing for batting. Moeen actually did well with ball and okay with bat.

my comment was regd entire ashes series.

 

as of this completed eng innings, bairstow has avg of 34.85. I maintain foakes would have 25-30, and have taken many chances.

 

moeen has batting avg of 25 and bowling avg of 64.5. latter is pathetic, former is kinda ok
