Vijy Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Old Man Broad hitting 140 kph with some zip at 37 yr old. whereas our trundlers operate in the 120s

Smith will be fine for another 3 or 4 years. Carey is too early in his career.

I expect smith to retire in another 2 years, because he doesn't seem the type of overstay (unlike Ind players and also Punter) rollingstoned 1

Eng havent scored big. it's been enough to challenge aus, whose own batting is full of holes. labu and smith are very inconsistent, warner is a dud, and travball didn't come off all the time. mostly up to khawaja Lord 1
Vijy Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Anderson may be innocuous, but I saw two consecutive balls at 135 kph from him at 41 yr old. whereas our trundler kings operate in the 120s Lord 1

I maintain foakes would have 25-30, and have taken many chances. moeen has batting avg of 25 and bowling avg of 64.5. latter is pathetic, former is kinda ok Edited July 27, 2023 by Vijy
Kothili Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Wood is prolly going back to shed for tinkering after this series.
