Frustrated Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 M Ali 12 overs 53/0. . Lyon had picked up 2 top order wickets in 12 overs.
vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 There is a method to madness of stokes captaincy.

This guy was happily retired and playing for CSK pocking money. Stokes has brought him from wilderness. Having said that Stokes is deliberately having open field on the on side for him to miscue one. So far not done. Never count their strategy out. I was painfully watching Pakistan hunting down as Stokes had ultra aggressive field set. Suddenly out of nowhere Wood came and triggered a collapse. Wood would have nailed him by now. He has no technique to pull the balls.
vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Going for review. Was he bounced out? I don't think so. He didn't evne have enough time to get the bat to ball
vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I cannot believe how a batsman with massive weakness against short ball is still making runs.

He would have nailed both Smith/Head much much early. Thakur average was 50 in that match. SA had full set of lefties, how many wickets Ashwin took there again in all three tests. Stop turning Ashwin into Shane Warne. Stan AF and Frustrated 1 1

vvvslaxman Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 It is even more bizarre an Austarlia is struggling against bounce. I know Steve waugh had this weakness all his life. But he took mostly on the body.
Frustrated Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 M Ali getting pasted all over the field by Head.

He can still get bit better against short ball not that old.

Stop turning Ashwin into Shane Warne. Different pitch/different ball/different conditions. You are talking about a series where 103 wickets out of 106 fell to seamers. Jansen averaged like 10 or something.

Does he even analyse the game of his opponents or just place players around without doing any research. He uses the same template for every player lol. Idiot. That is biggest fault of Rahul Dravid, he has not looked to implement any strategy in any format other than sitting on his ass and not selecting deserved players. wazza 1
