What Smith is doing with Cummins on the field, Kohli should have been doing with Rohit. What is point in having experience as a captain if you cannot help the team.

 

Rohit also should not have an ego is taking suggestion.

Seems like Smith is captaining.  They have 4 on the deep.  There is virtually no fielder near batsman.

Sorry but kohli did not help even bumrah when we were loosing 5th test last year. He only came infront of camera to show aggression when bowlers picked up wickets.

We don't know the dynamics.Kohli when he was captain was willing to let Dhoni handle the field settings.So he did not have any ego as captain seeking help from Dhoni.

 

Others also should be doing the same to benefit the team.
