That's what a proper athlete would do. He has huge hands and is extremely tall. Hence its easy for him to save runs in that manner.

Don't know. England pitches tend to get better for batting. Good teams can exploit it.

This bazball approach can be fine tuned in the sense they should let Root bat like Root and others bat around him. He is wasting his supreme form.

So far only team that exploited the 4th innings is England due to their ultra aggressive approach.  This Australian side is very conservative. Warner has terrible record in ENgland. This is a massive test for Smith. If he passes this he will reaffirms his GOAT status.

root's natural pace of scoring is already pretty good. he can score at 70 SR, which is good enough. brook is another who should not bazball and just play his natural dominating game

yes Root was aggressive even when he was the captain. His caree  strike rate is mostly in the 50s.
