Because on Indian pitches you get a lot of wickets by bowling that way. It doesn't work on wickets with a bit more bounce. In other places hitting top of off is considered ideal as it brings 3 dismissals into play.
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Khawaja What the hell is he doing He should impose himself and take over the chase.
Laaloo Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 What a luxury it is to have root bowling. Meanwhile we have our losers in the top order, can't bad, cant catch, can't bowl. rollingstoned 1

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Off spinners attacking left handed batsmen :) wow is that new trick?
MechEng Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 The biggest difference between Australia and England is the Anderson/Broad duo. Especially Anderson, who has more experience than Cummins/Hazlewood/Boland combined and knows Engish conditions inside out. He has seen it all, getting hammered by Hayden and Ponting, troubling Tendulkar in patches and making Kohli his bunny few times.

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Khawaja missed so many half trackers from Moeen Ali. Carey didn't miss out on it.

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 (edited) Stokes is still not bowling. Edited June 20, 2023 by vvvslaxman
Kothili Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Oz properly bottled this with new ball due in 11 overs.
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 About time Carey goes for reverse and spoons one up.
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Everyone is complaining about Khawaja's batting which is correct. He is literally not going anywhere. He relies on others to do the job while he is holdling forte.
rollingstoned Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 A time will come when he will need to tee off himself.
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Sangakkara politely reminds us of how Kohli bottled against STokes chasing a total of 194 in 4th innings lol sage and rollingstoned 2

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Austarlia has been at the wrong end in close chases f ew times. 2005 was the famous one. Lost by 2 runs. There was one match where chasing 323 against us they were 291/9. I thought we were gone for all money.
