That is where hover cover comes in. Wind blew off the cover.  You can cover the pitch with hover cover in 3 minutes. Any improvement is improvement. We should stop giving excuses not to use state of the art ground protection in the name of patriotism.

i think you did not understand what I wrote? Main pitch had no problem in the final but the square.  Hover cover is used to cover only the main pitch, not the square.

Smudger gets to 9k runs.

9,000 runs in 99th test. He would have ideally liked to have 10,000 runs in 100th test match if not for decline in last 3-4 years.

It did have problem. water seeped into side of pitch before covering. Have 3 hover covers and cover the side as well if you want. Is there a limit they should have only one?

Tongue can trouble both. Has pace and good conditions for him to bowl atm.

He goes wide off the crease and release as if he is going to bring the ball back in but ball goes away. He does it from good length. But it is hard to leave him off the length despite the bounce as odd balls keep low.

every ground has has at least 5-6 pitches, so, dont think it is practical to have that many hover covers. even in England, they dont use that many.

There was this Matthew Potts guy who played against us & Kiwis last year...   Guess he got shelved too soon.

England is banking on Robinson to carry the baton after Andu & Broad.

Lords is a fast scoring ground if one gets set.
