He is carrying the flag single handedly. Yes sure you could say naseem is there but naseem is still raw. He is still learning. Waqar had wasim for support and guys like shoaibh. You don't think shaheen in those teams of the past would wreak havoc? He is a world class bowler. I would say bumrah shaheen and shami are the best bowlers from Asia right now. Shami bit old now though. So some new guns like harshit/prasidh and naseem should step up soon. Link to comment

Unless naseem develops quickly it will be tough. Imagine how deadly shaheen would be in a better side like aus or India. I rate shaeen above hazlewood, wood and Robinson and archer easy. Right now above shami as well and rabada. Only behind Cummins bumrah and maybe south african tall bowler jansen. Jansen on shaheen on par I would say so. Shaheen also ahead of brilliant nortje. Similar thing happened with the NZ odi team as well. They toured pak in Jan 2023 and then again toured there in April 2023. (After barely 3 months. LOL).
