Enough of pampering these brats, mostly from richie rich families who are shielded from struggle. Always in news for wrong reasons, tantrums, shifting blame elsewhere, fights with coaches, conspiracy theories, tired of their ****. Heena Sidhu's husband Ronak Pandit coaches many of these brats and throws shade, mocks, insults achievers from wrestling, boxing, athletics, etc. basically everyone from less privileged backgrounds. According to him only shooters are deserving of all national awards. 

 

They need some attitude adjustment, sada hua community.

Chess ( Mens Team due to Gukesh & Prabhs)

Squash in mens maybe. Malaysia look like the best team around though. 

Bridge so far we've done well in Mixed as well. 

 

Preeti in boxing is also a potential gold IMO. Athletics I don't think we're as good this time. Fewer golds there. Chanu won't win in weightlifting. The Chinese have that locked. She may be lucky to win bronze. 

 

Rest look good. 20 gold in the Asian games would be huge (although bridge and chess shouldn't be counted IMO.) :)

Don't think we'll breach 10 in next year's Olympics. As the games get closer my optimism fades, always.

Chanu won't win Gold...  Even bronze would be a long shot.  Chinese dominate there. 

So badly want to see last time heroics get repeated in Athletics.  Let's see won't be easy.

Also a North Korean lifter beats Chanu all the time. She didn't participate in Tokyo for some reason, may be a doper, who knows? In these lesser weight categories, East Asians are too good....be it weightlifting, boxing, wrestling.

Indonesia lost 14 golds from last time because of their maritial art not being there. Plus they don't have bowling, jetskiing and paragliding where they won a few medals as well. Indonesia doesn't do too well other than in badminton and a couple of other sports. They are not a consistent top 10 even in Asia.

Much Better performance than Disastrous China game & Pathetic draw against lower ranked Myanmar. 

 

Indian volleyball is a much better side than Football.  We are ahead in Volleyball.  If it gets even 2-3% of cricket's resources we could seriously do well at Asian level in short term.. There is definite good volleyball talent at grassroots.  Not the same case with Football.

Ok we beat Japan 4-2. Dominated till last 4 minutes, then got lazy and conceded 2 goals. Next up Pakistan on 30th.
