bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 (edited) Comes back spectacularly to win on technical superiority (10 pt lead over opponent). Not sure why he allowed the Iranian so many pts in the beginning. Edited October 6, 2023 by bharathh

No history shown for either in international competitions. In Olympics I saw one Yazedani from Iran in 86 kg category freestyle. Won Silver medal. Had an amazing gold medal match with the US wrestler Taylor David who seems to be a big name. Edited October 6, 2023 by Number

bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Bahrain has imported wrestlers too. From Serbia.. I guess someone tricked them about which country to buy them from. Or maybe after the athletes and the handball team they ran out of money.
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 (edited) Bajrang runs out the clock for a win vs Serbian Bahrainian for a facile win. Through to SF. Real competition starts now. Aman up vs a Japanese wrestler in the SF. Usually would be confident for the men against the Japanese - but Aman is an unknown and he was loose vs the Iranian first up. Hope he is better this round. He has the skills. Edited October 6, 2023 by bharathh cowboysfan 1
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Aman goes down to the Japanese 12-10. Again allowed the Japanese to get away to a good start and tried to come back.
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Bajrang up vs an Asian champ and former world champ Iranian ... looks like bronze best bet for him also.
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Just looked at the recent world championships in wrestling. Not a single Indian made it past the round of 16. Shows the state of the sport atm. I guess we shouldn't expect any medals from the sport in the Olympics
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Bajrang today is a far cry from the champion of the past few years. Iranian taking him to the cleaners. WTF are the Indian wrestlers doing since the last Olympics? rollingstoned 1
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Awesome. All Indians lose their SFs and are hoping for a bronze. Pathetic! rollingstoned 1
deepdynamo Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Both Woman also loses their respective semis after Aman and Bajrang lost their respective semis. All 4 will play for Bronze medal now. Disappointing
Lone Wolf Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 As expected we are absolute trash rn in Wrestling... Aman is a ray of hope. He has a bright future. Should win bronze hopefully.
Lone Wolf Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 We should cross the 100 medal barrier still... Doable despite pathetic display in Wrestling
randomGuy Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Bajrang should give way to Vishal kaliraman who went through and won the trials.
bharathh Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Mens bridge will probably end in Silver. Lose 4th session as well. HKG up 3-1
