In the entire odi series , Frauduja has done nothing with the bat or with the ball.   Took some cheap wickets in the 1st odi where the pitch was a rank turner.  Looked flat in next 2 games.  Was useless in the odi home series vs Aus as well (batting & bowling both).  But he will be an automatic choice in playing11 for the WC under seniority quota and AR Quota.

He bowled mostly outside power play. Ashwin when he played used to bowl a lot inside power play. In T20s too Jaddu would bowl between 7th and 15th over.

Most wickets in T20I inside power play

Samuel Badree 37 wickets

Shakib 34 wickets

Imad wasim 30 wickets

Mujeeb Ur Rahaman 24 wickets

Santner  19 wickets

Ashwin 16 wickets

Nabi 16 wickets

Mahedi Hasan 15 wickets

Washington Sundar 15 wickets

A Dananjya 14 wickets

Maxwell 14 wickets

Mohammad Nawaz 14 wickets

Axar 14 wickets

Theekshana 14 wickets

Notable absence is Jaddu who is playing T20 for much longer period.

From cricinfo: Who is Hemant on this forum?

Hemant: "Mukesh Kumar is great but he is just another Bhuvi in the making (" India seemingly like having a bowler in the mould of Bhuvneshwar or Praveen Kumar in their ranks

Yash : "I'm sorry but what does "just another Bhuvi" mean? Bhuvi has been one of India's greatest white ball bowlers. And it's a pity he's not in the selection mix anymore. India will be blessed if Mukesh can be turn out to be even remotely as good as Bhuvi. "

Nit just Hemant we have few Yash also on the forum.

In the name of balance he has been part of the side regularly for 14 years. He should just stick to Tests. He is also getting older. So fielding will also regress.  Almost all his innings he played at no.7. Career strike rate there is 82. He can bat at no.8. No.7 should be a solid hitter.

only other option is Axar though and there's not much difference.
