India and West Indies clash in the 3rd ODI of the series on Tuesday, August 1st in Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad to decide the outcome of the series. The series that everyone looked at as a cakewalk for the Indian Team has taken a massive turn in the 2nd ODI and now hangs in the middle with both sides gunning for it.

India was blown out of the game by a West Indies team who won their first game against India in their last 10 matches. This will boost the confidence of the hosts as they have struggled for wins at the highest level and they will be looking to ride the momentum and clinch the series.

Test matches over we do not need test team with ODI thread

Stats :

Hope is 65 away from 5000 ODI runs. If he gets there on Tuesday, in his 113th innings, he will be the third fastest to the mark behind Babar Azam and Hashim Amla.

If Kohli plays and scores 102, he will become the fifth batter to reach the 13,000 mark in ODIs.

Ravindra Jadeja needs six wickets to become the seventh Indian to 200 ODI wickets, and the first Indian since Kapil Dev (3783 runs and 253 wickets) to complete the double of 2000 runs and 200 wickets.

Kyle Mayers is only the third West Indies player to open both batting and bowling in the same ODI. Phil Simmons and Chris Gayle are the other two.

Kishan dropped already. Better teams won't drop

Australia dropped 6 catches in England first innings in the last ashes test. Stokes dropped too if I remember so anyone can drop catches.

So that is our hope. Play kishan hoping better teams having a bad day in the office. WI failed to qualify because of plethora of dropped catches against Associate sides. So we can't compare anamolies from top side with a regular occurrence from a bottom ranked side.

One thing admirable about Kishan is...  He doesn't misses his chances that much.   Look at Sanju..  He would throw it away rn.  Kishan's career suggests he manages to score runs even when looking ugly.

So many technical faults but he tries to maximize his returns somehow.

He needs to improve his front foot game to be better prepared against good sides nevertheless.
