India has played only once on this ground. RP singh and IRfan pathan ran riot bundling Pakistan out for 161 runs.  In a spot of bother Raina finished the game with a quick cameo chasing a smallish total.

Their first one day internatinoal was in 2018. So long long way to go.

Almost 10 years ago, Nepal had defeated Afghanistan at the T20 WC 2014.

Since then, Afghanistan has earned Test Status, qualifies regularly for T20 and Odi Wcs, Nepal wahi Ka wahi hai abhi tak.

Yea. He just reacts to ball on flat pitch unlike SKY who tries to a hit a simple long hop to deep fine leg needlessly and gets out. That is fine in T20. Not in ODIs.

THey don't have infrstructure or domestic set up. They rely on players playing foreign leagues and learning there.

Nepal doesn't even have a proper International Stadium with facilities for the crowds. They had planned to build a Stadium called Gautam Buddha International Stadium by collecting funds from fans,volunteers and artists which is under construction forever. 

 

Even Bangladesh is a developed first world nation compared to Nepal.

From Nepal's point of view their goal should be to bat full 50 overs here. Just survive and put the odd bad balls away. No point in going after the target and getting AO in 15-20 overs.
