There was also a T20 between Nz and Eng last night.  Eng thrashed the kiwis in bazball style by chasing 145 in just 14 overs.   Meanwhile our overpaid superstars are working on Dotball style.  Characterised by 1st over maiden in a t20 (initiated by KLPD).

Apart from stealing singles ala Kohli and making sure to compulsorily rotate strike after hitting a 4 or 6 instead of going for another one which Gavaskar approves of.

2nd T20,Bavuma played an uncharacteristically whirlwind innings but since then short, skiddy Ellis has made the ball talk and helped reduce Saf to 46/4.

They should have weeded out experienced crappolas long back. Their first instinct is to "seeing off" new ball regardless of format, conditions, bowling strength.

They were going at 6 rpo until the 8th over and then exploded to make 190.

Atleast in one format teams are good against Ngidi. India and Srilanka are the worst against him.

SA getting whitewashed at home 0-3 in this T20 series.  Aus keep producing new exciting young talents ready for intl cricket.

I don't understand why teams are playing so many t20s building upto a WC. Many of these players are coming from months of only playing in random biryani korma leagues into the tournament.

In this regard Bcci and PCB hv done a better job ensuring that they play only 50 over matches leading upto the WC.  Even if few matches involving Ind get washed out in SL,  there is not much to worry.  Coz there is another 3 match Odi series we are playing vs Aus at home this month.  (Soon after the asia cup)     That should be enough quality practice.

And the last match saw some really good hitting by Inglis and Travis Head.  It's all about selection with these blokes.  They shouldn't go to the same old route and make some bold calls.  They have enough ability there to dominate the World Cup
