It is not necessarily about what is proved in court but that India is already been hurt by this through negative perceptions about it because of an ill advised move. With such said info, the five eyes already know what they need to know. Edited October 17, 2024 by zen

It is said to be made available to the Five Eyes as well. What you are probably hearing in Indian media is what happened initially (last year iirc) when Canada reached out to India to put its house in order based on intel (Five Eyes), and then India asked for evidence. The only evidence where it was provided was in case of Pannun where some drug mafia member paid the money to some US Agent to Kill Pannu and that Mafia member has electronic records with double Agent Yadav which came out by Indian investigative Agency. Canada has only provided "Credible Allegations" in front of West. Hasnt shared anything with India and asking India to investigate killing of a Terrorist/drug lord and then say they have evidence which warrants them to bring in Indian ambassador for questioning which is beyond any logic and norm

Later, there was a meeting b/w India and Canada in Singapore. It is said that Canada has video, audio, and email communications b/w the Consulate and Indian Intelligence in India. Intelligence agencies all around globe talk to their Consulates. And countries snoop, Nothing new in that and only time they disclose they snooped is when they have concrete evidence like case of Jamal Khassogi killing in Turkey. Else they know its unlawfull and dont claim that they have evidence. What is new is Canada accepted snooping Indian Consulate which is unlawfull Edited October 17, 2024 by mishra

Comparing USA and Kaneda regarding India behavior is obviously going to be different. Today MEA spoke said we don’t trust Canada. They have been harboring terrorists since the 80s and even exonerated the Kanishka bombing suspect who killed 250 Kanedians. They have a history and their political future is infested with these Khalistani elements - supporters, sympathizers and terrorists. India has repeatedly asked to share intel on Khalistani terrorists who have links with ISI and past acts. India cannot and should not think they are toothless and ignore. It directly impacts Indians security both home and abroad

India is probably acting like how Pak acted when India provided it with radio intercepts, etc. when India sent a dossier, Pak said there is nothing credible in it. At the moment, there is no logical reason to believe that if India can do X in the US, it cannot do X in Canada.
coffee_rules Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) Yeah right, They are peaceful referendum seekers. They have been caught plotting to kill Indian diplomats. Ideally, Kaneda should have shared that intel with India without India knowing it through back channels. Pannun has openly given bomb threats to India and asking Sikhs in Kaneda to kill Hindus. These criminals are running drug and crime gangs in their backyard. It is biting them in their back, but India ki ghutne tekne ki chesta kar rahein hain. Edited October 17, 2024 by coffee_rules

You Can not snoop a embassy building or its Consulate and hence Geneva Convention. EOD on that front. Now if you had evidence, You will use it in front of public to create a outcry (like Kashhogis case, but since its not supposed to be used, everyone who was involved is free man). See, Knowing Trudeau and Khalistanis, they would have put evidence on Social media if there was any. So I doubt they have anything apart from self implicating in crime that they snooped. As soon as they provide anything which prooves they were snooping, India will take it global bodies that they are doing illegal Stuff. PS: US was smart. The Intelligence in India and the Consulate are said to be exchanging tactics. Unless new info comes out, at the moment, I feel that India is involved so will not try to do window dressing to make India appear holier than thou. We have experienced such with Pak too. When we gave them a dossier with radio intercepts, etc., but Pak kept dodging it. With Canada, I think India will try to do the same for a variety of reasons (including for not putting the diplomat in the spot of bother. He would have acted assuming diplomatic immunity). But the concerned parties know where each stand. Edited October 17, 2024 by zen

Turdeau is using it to gain political mileage as he cannot implicate India with that intel as evidence and also cannot discolse the intel to public. They might be coded and at least disclose how they got the intel. India is just calling out the bluff. All this five eyes telling Infdia to cooperate with Kaneda is mere lip-service.

Yes, the issue could be that its collected by Snooping Indian Consulate in Canada by Five Eyes (US) and not concrete enough. As soon as Canada shares it with India , whole narrative will turn upside down , India taking it to International Court prosecuting Canada as to who autorised Snooping of our Consulate. They want Canada to blink first by sharing snoop data. coffee_rules 1
gattaca Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) Canada has actively promoted Khalistani movement. They didn’t prosecute the kaniskha bombers. The X-ray machines broke down, sniffing dogs were on training that day and an unknown man with out a ticket leaves a bag on air India flight. Canada had an agent Surjan Singh gill who was pulled out. He was never investigated for his crimes and now under a witness protection program in UK. Canada has been complicit in Kaniskha. No of people punished for kanisha zero. Pakistan harbored osama and was called out. How is this country any different ? Life’s are lost where is the justice for these people. There are multiple attacks on Indian consulate. India had multiple extradition requests to Canada but none are addressed. Indians origin folks in Canada stop being a brown sepoy and need to think about this. You can’t and shouldn’t defend this. Even if India did this it is because of Canadian policies promoting violence in India and on Indian people. Singha another Canadian MP has raised concerns about this and he was kicked out from the party. Justin Trudeau doesn’t want anything against Khalistanis and even kicked out his own MP. A section of Sikhs may have an issue but that is fine as long as they put their point across in accepted manner! The issue is not India v Canada, but versus a relatively closed and homogeneous society versus an open and multi cultural one. In a way it is similar to the difference b/w Islam and Hinduism, which is relatively more open and accepting than Islam. Which is why what comes from India will find it relatively difficult to gain traction outside of India.

There are families of ISI/Pak Military (known to deal in drugs) as well. There are people from Eastern Europe. Afgans, who could have poppy fields back home. People from Southeast Asia (Cambodia) and South America (Colombia). As for drugs, yeah, people of Indian origin (esp. Punjabi truck drivers) do get caught smuggling drugs esp. from across the border. There have been people caught at the airport too. Bangladeshis! That is how Canada is. It also promotes freedom of expression. Freedom of expression for killing people ? If any one does this in Canada and goes to India will Canada allow that ? The last time a U.S. citizen exposed the NSA surveillance he had to run to Russia not Canada. Didn’t Canada detain a Huawei CFO on instructions by a certain country ? They have been harboring terrorists, criminals and drug lords in the name of liberalism. When it comes to protecting human rights activists , guess who they supported? ISI. Karima Baloch , a human rights activist had sought asylum in Kaneda. She was killed by ISI terrorists hiding in Pak high commissioners office. Kaneda took no action and even called her murder - a suicide. Bloody criminals mishra and gattaca 2

Yeah when it comes to geopolitics, Canada is influenced by the US (most countries are unless you are Russia, China, North Korea, etc) and is part of various alliances. If you think the US influenced Canada, it is the US that India should be worried about. And the US may get involved in this issue too if it feels like leveraging on it.
